Wednesday Night Drinking Club at The Lounge at Orsay in Historic Avondale
Join us starting at 7pm in Historic Avondale's newest restaurant and lounge as we mix things up a bit. We realize that this may throw your month off a bit by having an event on a Wednesday, but it is the holidays, things get crazy.
With your donation of $5 to the Cultural Center of Ponte Vedra Beach, you will receive a free glass of wine or draft beer.
Don't worry we will return to our regular Thursday Night programming in January.

Thursday Night Drinking Club and Jacksonville Scene Hallow-Eve Party
A Party So Fun It's Scary!!!
Join Jacksonville Scene and Thursday Night Drinking Club as we transform Wise Guys in Jacksonville Beach into a haunted party on Thursday, October 30th, for the Hallow-Eve Party. We kick off the spooktacular weekend the day before Halloween. Don't be scared to dress for the monster bash and enjoy some Bud and Bud Light specials and win prizes for best costume, sexiest costume and funniest costume. Includes 2 FREE drinks, a food buffet special, drink specials, music and the best crowd in Jacksonville for just $15. Hallow-Eve will be so much fun, it's scary! Starts at 7:00 PM.
Drink specials include bud light drafts for $2, house wine $4, premiums $4.50 and $4 specialty HallowEve cocktails.
A few of the prizes for each of the three categories include 2 tickets to the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra or 2 tickets to Last Comic Standing at the Florida Theatre. More prizes and surprises to come...

Forbes is Wrong at TacoLu in Jacksonville Beach
On Thursday September 25th, young professionals of Jacksonville gathered at TacoLu in Jacksonville Beach for Thursday Night Drinking Club's monthly meeting benefiting JCCI Forward's community programming. People enjoyed $2 margaritas and $1 draft beer. This event was held to prove to Forbes that they are wrong- Jacksonville is a GREAT place to be single and be out and ready to mingle.

Park(ing) Day
On Friday September 19th, Jacksonville Scene and Thursday Night Drinking Club participated in the Trust for Public Land "Park(ing) Day". In 90 cities across the country people set up temporary parks in parallel parking spots to promote parks in downtown areas. We had tons of people stop by and enjoy our park during their lunch break, smoke break or just to get out of work a little early. Special thanks to A1 Sod for providing the grassy area for us to walk around barefoot in all day and to Gecko Gardens for masterfully creating our private city oasis. On December 20th young professionals joined the Thursday Night Drinking Club at Aromas in Ponte Vedra to raise money for the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation. There was some Jingle and a whole lot of mingling.

Halloween After Party at Square One in San Marco
Face paint, black finger nails and cobwebs were still aparent at this Halloween After Party. Gouls and Goblins hung up their sheets after scaring the neighborhood kids and stealing their candy. This event raised money for the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation.

Monthly event at the Florida Theatre for the Film Festival
Thursday Night Drinking Club crashed the Film Festival opening night at the Florida Theater. We enjoyed wonderful libations provided by Bacardi, as well as a great movie to kick off this annual tradition.

Monthly Event at Lemon Bar
Thursday Night Drinking Club enjoyed a wonderful night in the spring air at one of our favorite haunts. Glasses as well as money were raised to benefit the Jacksonville Humane Society who desperately needed the money following a terrible fire at their Jacksonville Headquarters.

Jacksonville Scene New Years Eve Party at MOSH
Join Jacksonville Scene at the Museum of Science and History (MOSH) on the Southbank from 9pm-2am on December 31st to ring in the new year. Enjoy putting through time, open bar, food, a DJ, champagne toast and an amazing location for the New Year's Fireworks display downtown. All of this for $50. Tickets are on sale now.
